My family and I  have so many fond memories of our Family Safari Adventure. In fact, we’ve been recommending this trip to all of our friends and family since our return, so don’t be surprised if you see us again next year with a few more families in tow!

   For James, this trip was absolute HEAVEN!  For Summer and I, who had very little riding and camping experience, it was an adventure we’ll always remember: the horseback trail, beautiful mountain and lake views, camping, fishing, swimming in the lake and creek, the home cooked meals, stories by the camp fire and the new friendships we’ve made through the Frontier Pack Train.  This was truly, truly one of the best summer vacations we’ve ever had!!!

  Getting to know Alex, Terry and Barbara Jean was a real treat.  They were wonderful with all the kids – seven in our camp! And you, Lori, were so awesome with them on our ride back, entertaining them with songs. You are all so down to earth and just down right good people! I hope Dave knows what a great team he has.

  Also wanted to share just how much Summer loves and misses her “Shelty” the mule. She cried when we got to Bishop, because she missed Shelton so much. She was worried that someone would want to buy him, so she made me call Dave the next morning to find out. He confirmed that Shelton was their “best babysitter” and would never be sold, and that he would be around to see her on our next trip. She smiled from ear to ear! We managed to find a mini Shelton that she now sleeps with every night.

   So thank you, Dave and the entire Frontier Pack Train Family for the awesome experience and great memories.  See y’all next year!
